How to get started
Step 1 - Register for a consignor account. You will automatically be given a seller number. Once you have registered, you are ready to start entering your items.
Step 2 - Log in to your consignor account
Step 3 - Click on Enter Items. (You do not have to enter all items at one time. The system will automatically save your entered items.)
Step 4 - Print your tags.
Step 5 - Put your tags on your items.
-All clothing must be on a hanger with the hook of the hanger pointing to the left. (Looks like a question mark)
-Shorts, pants and skirts should be safety pinned to the top of the hanger, not the bottom.
-Make sure all multi-piece outfits are securely hooked together. It is very hard to put items back together should they become separated.
-Fasten the tag to the clothing items by sticking a safety pin through the top of the tag and attaching it to the seam under the right arm of the item or through the tag if it has one so that it can be seen easily when on the rack. Tagging guns may be used. No straight pins!
-Shoes need to be secured together with either a zip tie or string. If there is no way to hook them together, put them in a Ziploc bag and secure with tape.
-Attach the tag with a safety pin through the shoelace holes or buckles or attach to the Ziploc bag with tape. Do not put tape over the barcode!
-Items must be in excellent, working condition.
-Any items that require batteries must have working batteries so customers can test the toy before buying.
-Any small parts should be put in a Ziploc bag and taped to the toy. Make sure that the smaller items are securely attached. Use painter's tape or zip ties.
-When attaching tags to toys, please make sure the barcode is not covered in any way.
Step 6 - Drop off items
-Drop off is Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30. Consignors will need to put their items in the correct location when they come to drop off.
-Please have your clothing items sorted by gender and size.
-Please keep Boutique clothing (high-end brands, smocked items, etc.) and Adult/Junior clothing separate from the rest of your clothing. These items will be in a separate display area.
-At drop off, you must sign a Consignor Agreement and you will receive your early shopping passes.
-Please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope with you at drop off to ensure your check is mailed to the correct location.
-Please leave a tote, laundry basket or cardboard box with your consignor number securely attached to the side so we are able to easily sort your unsold items at the end of the sale.
Step 7 - Pick up unsold itemsthat are not being donated
-Any unsold items that are not being donated will be available to pick up.
-Any items not picked up by 6:00p.m. on Monday, August 7 will be donated.
Items we accept
-Any fall/winter children's clothing items sizes Newborn-16. We will also accept "Juniors" size clothing (Abercrombie, Hollister, etc.) Clothing must be clean with no stains, tears or holes. Anything not meeting these standards will not be sold.
-Any fall/winter shoes that are clean and in great condition.
-Fall/winter adult and maternity clothing.
-Toys, books, DVDs, video games, games, outdoor toys, bikes, etc. Items must be clean and contain all parts/pieces. Anything electronic must contain batteries to make sure that it works before being sold.
-Baby gear - Pack n plays, swings, bouncy seats, exersaucers, high chairs, booster seats, strollers, baby gates, bath tubs, etc.
-Nursery/children's furniture - dressers, gliders, changing tables, kid's table and chairs, toddler beds, etc.
-Nursery and children's bedding and room decor.
Items we do not accept
-No car seats
-Any recalled item -
-No underwear unless brand new in a sealed package
-No used nursing bras
-No breast pumps unless brand new in a sealed box
-No bottle nipples, pacifiers or sippy cups unless brand new in a sealed package
-No stuffed animals unless they are battery operated
-No "freebies" (free formula diaper bag, kid's meal toys, etc)
Shoppers are looking for great deals, so consider condition and brand when pricing your items. Price to sell! Consider what you would be willing to pay for that item and consider what you could buy the item for brand new.
For most clothing and toys, 1/4-1/3 of the retail price is reasonable.
The Children's Place/ Gap/Dept stores $3-$5
Boutique clothing 25%-35% of retail price
New clothing with tags 50%-60% of retail price
Baby equipment and large toys sell very well if they are reasonably priced, usually 1/3-1/2 of retail price.
